Become an expert in Excel with our Excel advanced workshop.
This course is ideal for regular users who need or want to extend their knowledge of Excel and get into more complex functions.
On completion, candidates will have a greater knowledge of a range of tools to use. These will help automate processes, gather results from complex questions and create pivot tables.
We run the Excel advanced workshop in small groups to offer more 1-to-1 tuition. Plus, each candidate will receive a memory stick with all the coursework examples to take away with them.
Course Contents
Candidates will learn the advanced techniques. These are areas such as using goal seeker, creating advanced functions and list management.
The full course content is:
- Creating and maintaining a list
- Using the data form
- Sorting and filtering data
- Using subtotals
- Creating a user-defined function
- Creating pivot tables and chart reports
- Using goal seeker and solver
- Using scenario manager
- Recording and using macros
Requirements
Candidates will need to bring a laptop loaded with Excel 2010 or newer to the training day. Anything before 2010 has a different interface which will not be the same as the instructors. However if this is a problem please notify us on booking so we can make alternative arrangements for you.
Certification
Candidates will receive a certificate shortly after taking the course stating their workshop attendance.
