Gain access to construction sites with the (Safety, Health and Environment Awareness) SHEA Water Passport course.

This card is affiliated with CSCS and will allow holders access to construction sites for the purposes of utility work without a separate CSCS card. Therefore, SHEA Water Passport training is perfect for water industry workers from operatives through to management.

Course Contents

The SHEA Water card consists of 8 modules with 6 core modules focusing on health, safety and the environment, followed by 2 modules specific to the water industry.

The full course content is:

  • Health and safety responsibilities in the workplace
  • Effects of work on the environment
  • Identifying and controlling risks
  • Common hazards in the workplace
  • Sewerage network and process operatives
  • Highway working and excavations
  • Operational health hazards
  • Responding to emergencies

Assessment and Certification

Candidates will undertake a multiple-choice question paper at the end of the day to test their understanding with each successful candidate receiving their card within 28 days of taking the course. In the meantime, candidates will receive a cover note from their tutor allowing them access until the official card arrives.

The SHEA Water card is valid for 3 years, after which retaking the course will renew your card.

Note: All those attending should bring with them a form of photographic ID.

This SHEA water training course is for operatives, supervisors and management within the water industry who require access to sites. In particular, water utility companies such as Yorkshire Water, Seven Trent Water, Anglian Water, etc.

Lost your SHEA Water Card?

Whilst cards are replaceable, there are charges and wait times of up to 28 days for the reissuing of cards.
