Assessment and Certification
First aid is a highly practical subject, which means you’ll get the chance to perform practical activities throughout the session. Practical activities involve the use of simulated wounds and significant volumes of imitation blood (please dress accordingly, as clothing may be splashed). Whilst you complete each task, your tutor will assess your capability, to ensure that you are performing each technique correctly.
In addition, you’ll sit a short question paper to confirm your understanding of the subject. You must pass both the practical assessment and the question paper to gain your certificate.
After passing the course, you’ll receive your certificates, which are valid for 3 years.
